In life and in death, total support from Support Elders
I would like to thank and bless Support Elders from the bottom of my heart for the help that they provided to me during my extreme emergency. They not only shifted my husband from Konnagar, where we stay, to a Kolkata hospital but also handled the admission and kept me informed about his medical status everyday, during his entire stay in the hospital.
I lost my husband but they never left my side, especially on the day he passed away, staying by me 8 in the morning till 2 at night. When I reached the hospital after getting the news of his passing, they took care of the hassles regarding the insurance claim and everything was smoothly handled by them.
They then accompanied me back and helped me to go through the rituals of the last rites and took me home. Details of the costs were explained to me and all receipts were handed over to me. I could not have handled all of this my own.
All my good wishes to every member of the organization.
Ms M. Chatterjee, Konnagar

Logistics managed with ease
My aged mother, Ms U. Banerjee, lives alone in an apartment complex. I had moved her to my sister’s place at the onset of lockdown and then brought her back to her own home in November after a gap of eight months. The shifting process was a logistics nightmare and managing it from abroad, let’s say, was not easy.
Support Elders was there throughout the shifting process and did a commendable job in coordinating various things.
Thank you Support Elders! Thank you Mr Roy! Keep up the good work!

A Great peace of mind
We just subscribed for the service in October 2020 for my parents and by end of October, my father had an emergency, around midnight, due to low level of oxygen. The GPS-enabled watch was a saviour for my mother and a representative reached our home pretty soon. After that, they took care of everything—from arranging the ambulance, admitting my father in Apollo, visiting him at the hospital to getting him discharged from there. We are really happy with their support, especially during this Covid-19 phase. As I and my brother stay in the USA, we felt that we had taken the right decision by registering our parents with Support Elders. It gives us great peace of mind. In fact, our relatives and friends have taken their contact details. Though we do not want such emergencies to happen, but who knows when support is required.
All of your representatives are so cordial and responsible; we are really grateful to your team.

In deep appreciation
I would like to place on record my own and my mother’s deep appreciation for all the help that Support Elders has provided to us in dealing with our huge and terribly tragic crisis. I am particularly grateful to the many care associates who escorted my father to the hospital on the 7th and arranged for his admission at Command Hospital. They were constantly available to take my desperate calls for help in organising sanitisation services, Covid Testing at home and such others for my mother and the helpers and attendants. They also kept giving me information from the hospital about my father’s condition.
Your care associates also came and sat with me while I waited for hours till my dear father’s body was brought down from the COVID ICU to the mortuary at the Command Hospital and later went with me to the office to deal with the paperwork. They arranged for the attendant who had tested positive to be removed to a care centre and helped me to organise another round of deep sanitisation of our flat.
This has been an extremely traumatic experience for me, as I was alone in a hotel, unable to be with my mother and having to grapple with the grief and the crisis. I found it assuring to speak to your area coach who he readily helped and advised me every step of the way.
I am now back in the flat with my mother and the Kolkata Municipal Corporation authorities are yet to reach out to us but we have been asked to stay at home till they come to test us again. Till then we are locked in at home. My father’s shradh date of September 21, may get missed if the lockdown is strictly imposed, even though we are Covid negative. My sister who is travelling from the USA to be with us in this critical time, will probably have to stay in a hotel for a week or more. It is an altogether catastrophic situation but I am hopeful that I can count on the Support Elders team to help us get through this painful period.
