What Families Say About Us
Families across Kolkata have experienced care in moments that matter, big and small. Here’s what they say about us.

Support Elders took care of everything after my knee operation, from hospital admission to discharge, ambulance arrangements, medicines, and monthly check-ups. I am very satisfied with their sincere and compassionate service.
Ms M. Ghosh, Member
Recently, we went on our first trip with Support Elders, and I must commend the staff for organising it so well. My special thanks to my care coordinator for accompanying us and taking such good care of all the members.
Mr S. K. Chatterjee, Member
During a difficult medical problem, my care coordinator was available whenever I needed him and handled every difficult situation promptly, efficiently, and with understanding. My thanks to everyone at Support Elders for the work they do.
Ms R. Chatterjee, Member
We have been associated with Support Elders for a little over two months, and it has been one of the best decisions for our parents. They have been our proxy and support throughout, handling every situation with calm and proficiency.
Ms R. Mantha and Mr P. Banerji, Children of Members

During covid they risked their lives for us
As they are from army background they are very swift and that's important to save lives
We can trust them with our banking needs
They are well disciplined and follow a code of conduct

See Our Care In Action
Care is often felt most deeply in difficult situations. Here are a few that made a difference.
One of our members, 82, lost her husband in 2025. As a result, she slipped into deep depression, and her health began to decline rapidly. She became largely bedridden, suffered from urinary tract infections, and required assistance with most daily activities. Concerns about hygiene, medication management, and her existing conditions, including dementia and Parkinsonism, made her care increasingly complex. When her family chose our comprehensive care solution, a structured care plan was put in place. A sensor strip was installed for continuous monitoring, hygiene practices were strengthened, physiotherapy sessions were increased to six days a week, and her medication and feeding routines were carefully organised. Our Care Integrator, Ms S. Bal, also introduced simple engagement activities such as storytelling, memory games, and family interactions to encourage participation and communication. Over time, Ms Ghosh’s condition improved steadily. Her infection cleared up, and she gradually regained strength. Today, she can sit for longer periods, take tea and breakfast independently, and even walk short distances with support. For her family living in different cities, the change has brought reassurance. As her son wrote to us, “Ms S. Bal has become a pillar of support for us. She is now part of the family.”
Residents of several high-rise complexes along the EM Bypass in Kolkata were severely affected by the recent heavy rains and waterlogging in September 2025. At one such complex in South Kolkata, 17 of our members were confined to their flats for over two days without electricity, water, or food. Zonal Coordinator Mr S. Panda took charge, ensuring drinking water, candles, bread, and fruits reached each member’s apartment. With lifts out of service due to the power outage, our Member Care Associates (MCAs) carried supplies up as high as the 7th, 8th, and even 10th floors. Since power supply has still not been restored, Mr Panda and Regional Coach Mr. Roy have also been collecting members’ cell phones, charging them at our office for 3–4 hours, and returning them so that members could remain in touch with their children, who are constantly checking on their well-being. Although the situation has started to improve, the city continues to face power outages and food shortages, as shops and markets operate at limited capacity. Through this difficult time, the Support Elders team remains vigilant, resourceful, and fully committed to meeting the needs of our members.
On June 25, 2024, sometime around 9:30 pm, Mr J. Datta’s wife contacted ZC Mr M. Sinha to report an emergency. Mr Sinha promptly dispatched N. A. Mallik, the MCA on night duty, who reached the member’s residence within 10 minutes. In the meantime, Mr. Sinha called the Alarm Centre to request an ambulance. Upon reaching the house, Mr. Mallik discovered that Mr Datta had fallen in the bathroom. He gathered all the necessary documents and took Mr. Datta to the hospital in the ambulance which had by then arrived outside the member’s residence. Mr Datta was immediately taken to the emergency room where his bleeding was stopped. Over the course of the treatment, he received five stitches on his forehead. Mr Mallik brought Mr Datta back home by 2:00 am and left only after ensuring that the member was fine.
