I have yet to meet people as kind and dedicated as the Support Elders staff. Their exceptional levels of compassion and dedication compel me to write in praise of them. Due to my vision problems, I require regular check-ups and treatments. The staff assist me admirably on these outings: they book appointments, communicate with the doctor about my reports, and even accompany me to the clinic. Living on the third floor with weak eyesight makes climbing stairs incredibly difficult. The Support Elders staff hold my hand, guide me safely during visits, and ensure I return to my room comfortably. Without their help, I doubt I could manage on my own. I am completely dependent on their assistance, and thanks to their outstanding service, my daughter, who lives abroad, can rest assured about my well-being.

I am a very satisfied member of Support Elders. I am extremely touched at the way the staff of Support Elders care for my husband and me. Their levels of dedication makes me feel that they are members of my own family. Once, when I had fallen extremely ill, they came to my aid. They took care of me and assisted me up and down my three-storey house whenever I had to go to the hospital or to the doctor’s clinic.
I cannot adequately express in words how much I value their service. Both of us are extremely happy to have them in our lives.

In October, our family underwent a terrible experience. My father fought for his life for 10 days at Durgapur Mission Hospital. During these trying times, the Support Elders team stood firmly beside us. They showed humanity, compassion, knowledge and professionalism. My father had to be admitted to the ICU twice. Both times, the Support Elders team arranged for his admission at lightning pace. In our absence, they played the role of family members while talking to doctors and other medical staff. They could have finished their duty by admitting my father in hospital, but they came home and spent time with my mother, explaining the health condition of my father, reassuring her of any help she might require. The team had difficulty during the festival period to arrange for someone to be at home for 24 hours when my father came back home in-between. Once again they went a few extra miles to arrange an additional domestic help and a nurse, and they visited our place several times to ensure my father was taking his medicines. My parents thought of them like their own sons, and we felt the members of the team were like our own brothers. Our sincere gratitude to Mr S. Mandal, Mr B. Maji, Mr S. Bag, Mr S. Maji, Mr S. Gorain, Mr S. S. Moulick. They were available 24 hours during these difficult days. May God bless them with a lot of success and prosperity.

I’ve been with Support Elders for several years, and I am overwhelmed as I try to write about the kind of assistance they provide to elders. I have personally benefitted immensely from their care. Recently I fell seriously ill and had to be taken to the hospital. I was unconscious throughout the ordeal and only came to know later, from my family members and the hospital staff, how Support Elders was always by my side. They were the ones who called the ambulance to my place, took me and admitted me in the hospital, and for the two weeks
I was there, someone from the organisation would drop by every day to check on me. During my recovery, I would need to get tests done at a diagnostic centre some distance away from the hospital. The staff of Support Elders was once again there to escort me back and forth whenever necessary. The day I was discharged, I remember it was raining heavily. Two coordinators from Support Elders, one on a bike and the other travelling with me, helped me back home. Both of them got drenched in the process, but they only took their leave once I was in the safety of my home. I am filled with gratitude when
I think of ways in which Support Elders have stood by my side over the years.
