While visiting our member Ms. G. Basu, to take her for a doctor visit, MCA Mr. J. Roy found her pretty unwell. On reaching the hospital Mr. Roy got her a wheelchair. Since her health was deteriorating, he immediately spoke to the hospital staff and was insistent that she be attended to on an urgent basis. The doctor concerned was in the OT, but on Mr. Roy’s insistence he came to attend our member. He found Ms Basu’s heart rate had decreased and immediately got some medical investigations and an ECG done. Ms Basu was kept under observation the entire day till her condition stabilised at around 4.00 p.m. Mr. Roy was by her side right from 10.00 in the morning till she was discharged. He constantly took updates about her health and didn’t budge from our member’s side even for food. Once she was discharged, he brought her back home safely, made her comfortable and then ate. Ms Basu was extremely thankful for all that he did.

On 8th September, 2023 at 11:00 a.m our member Ms A. Boral had fallen in the dining place and was in immense pain. When ZC Mr B. Das was informed, he immediately sent MCA Mr S. K Mishra to the member’s house and informed the Alarm Centre to send an ambulance. She was lifted carefully and taken to the hospital and admitted. A few tests were conducted. In the evening MCA Mr S. Naskar was present during the CT scan. As the report showed she was okay, they discharged her the next day. As she still complained of being in pain ZC Mr B. Das took her to an orthopaedic doctor for consultation. He examined her and stated that she had a fracture and required a surgery. An appointment was booked for surgery. Till Ms Boral was at the hospital Mr Das and other team members constantly visited her. After her surgery she was brought back home safely. She is being taken for regular check-ups as prescribed by the doctor. She is recovering and has started walking slowly.

While monitoring health parameters 24×7, our CNC team found certain fluctuations in the health parameters and immediately intimated CI team to visit our member Ms M. Bhattacharya. The Care Integrator Ms S. Roy, rushed immediately and found our member was having convulsions, her oxygen saturation was dipping, she had high blood pressure and was hardly conscious. Immediately Ms Roy called ZC Mr. S. Dey, who realizing the grim situation called her son who stays abroad. According to his instructions an ambulance was arranged and ZC Mr. Dey hospitalised her. She was detected of high blood sugar. Timely action and seamless service delivery by all the teams concerned had saved her from further deterioration. On recovering she was brought home safely.

The car ownership had to be transferred to our member Ms. S. Mukhopadhyay. Since she had to leave the country just after a month, this work had to be done on an urgent basis and within the stipulated time. ZC Mr. S. Dey assigned MCA Mr. S. Debnath to complete this task. He went to the RTO to find out relevant sources to fast track the case. During the entire process he would get the documents signed by our member and bring them back to the RTO office for submitting to different officials. Even on his week-off, he diligently travelled from his house to the RTO office to pursue the work and get it done. Without much expense, within a month he got the car transferred in our member’s name. Our member Ms Mukhopadhyay was immensely happy due to this.
