𝗢𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗯𝘂 𝗗𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶

Our member Mr. S. Chakravarty had visited the United Arab Emirates, particularly Abu Dhabi. He highlights some of the places he distinctly remembers till date either for their magnificence, opulence, elegance or beauty.
We embarked on a journey to Dubai via Emirates, followed by a scenic drive to the capital of the UAE, Abu Dhabi. Our first stop was the mesmerizing underwater aquarium, where the captivating world of sea fish unfolded before us. It took us at least two hours to explore thoroughly the aquarium which showcased a diverse array of sharks, including various breeds, alongside enchanting creatures like the sea horse and the Horse fish.
Continuing our journey, Yas Island emerged as a thrilling destination. Known for its iconic attractions, we found ourselves immersed in the excitement of Yas Land. The island’s vibrant energy, highlighted by the Yas Marina Circuit and Ferrari World, offered a perfect blend of entertainment and adventure.
The Grand Mosque situated there is a magnificent testament to Islamic architecture. Despite the strict guidelines, the mosque welcomed tourists. To attend it one required to be in a respectful dress code, especially women had to wear full sleeved dresses and cover their heads. The interior revealed a breathtaking sight with chandeliers, each weighing around 2 tons and adorned with diamonds, adding an unparalleled brilliance to the sacred space.
Exploring Abu Dhabi’s Corniche, we discovered a picturesque waterfront with inviting beach chairs. However, it’s noteworthy that access was restricted after 7 pm, reminding us of the serene beauty along the coastline.
Our journey took us to the Presidential Palace, a symbol of grandeur where significant cabinet meetings unfold. Tourists were graciously permitted after a stringent security check. This allowed us to witness the elegance and significance of this political hub.
For a touch of opulence, we ventured to the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental. This renowned hotel, often frequented by Indian film stars, stands as a pinnacle of luxury in Abu Dhabi. The grandeur of the property, creates an indulgent retreat for those seeking the epitome of hospitality.
Adding to the allure of Abu Dhabi, we explored the Gold Souk, an open market bustling with the shimmer of gold. The vibrant marketplace offered a myriad of options for those interested in the richness of this precious metal.
The Sheikh of Abu Dhabi has created a monumental scripture for the people. This extraordinary piece is 12 feet by 10 feet and embodies a deep connection with the culture and spirituality of the region.
Our adventure in Abu Dhabi was a seamless blend of cultural exploration, architectural marvels, and moments of leisure. We really appreciate the diverse facets of this captivating city.
